MyLog Synchronization System

MyLog uses a synchronization system to keep your data up to date and help prevent data loss. Sync normally runs in the background, but the Synchronization screen gives you a place to review sync status and troubleshoot when something needs attention.

Where to find it

Open Settings and choose Synchronization.

Synchronization screen

Use the Synchronization screen to review sync status and see whether MyLog reports any synchronization issues.

If a sync issue is available, open its details to understand which area is affected before taking action.

Sync Details

The Reset Synced Data And Resync action is available from the Sync Details section.

Use this only when MyLog support asks you to, or when you see issues such as:

  • A gray screen when opening the app or navigating to a screen.
  • Missing or incomplete data.
  • Sync status that does not recover after normal refresh.

Reset synchronization

To reset synchronization:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Synchronization.
  3. Open Sync Details.
  4. Tap Reset Synced Data And Resync.
  5. Confirm the action.
warning

If you have unsynced data, it may be lost after resetting synchronization. Make sure your latest changes are synced or contact support before using this action.

Refresh individual data screens

Some data screens can be refreshed without resetting all synced data. Where available, pull down on the list to refresh that specific area.

Examples include:

  • Endorsements
  • Crew Documents
  • Limitations
  • Previous Experiences

Use pull-to-refresh first when you only need to reload one area. Use full sync reset only for broader sync problems.
