Endorsements
Endorsements are the permissions that are given by the flight instructor to the pilot. These permissions are required to fly certain types of aircraft or to perform certain types of operations.
To fly certain types of aircraft or to perform certain types of operations, you need to have the required endorsements. You can add your endorsements to MyLog and keep track of them.
Adding New Endorsement
There are two ways to add a new endorsement to MyLog.
Add Endorsement while adding a log
After you add a new log, you can add an endorsement to that log. You can add an endorsement by tapping the + Add Endorsement to this flight button on the log detail screen, under Endorsements section.
When you add a new endorsement to a log, it will be added to your endorsements list as well. Also this endorsement will be related to the log.
The endorsements you add to a log will be listed under the Endorsements section on the log detail screen.
You can add multiple endorsements to a log.
Add Endorsement from Endorsements screen
- Navigate to Settings screen.
- Scroll down and tap Endorsements.
- Tap + button on the top right corner.
In both ways, you will see the Add New Endorsement screen. Just fill the fields and tap Save button below the form.
Endorser crew is the flight instructor who gives you the endorsement. You can select the endorser crew from your Flight Crews or you can add new endorser crew which will be added to your Flight Crews.
If Title and Licence Number data for the flight crew you select as endorser was filled. These data will be automatically filled to the endorsement form.
You can use Crew Chooser to select the endorser crew. Just double tap the endorser crew field.
Updating Endorsement
To update an endorsement either tap on the endorsement on the log detail screen or tap on the endorsement on the endorsements screen. You will see the details screen which you can view the details of the endorsement. To update those information tap the edit button on the right corner. Then you can update the information and tap Save button.
Deleting Endorsement
Deleting an endorsement is easy. Just tap on the endorsement you want to delete. You will see the details screen which you can view the details of the endorsement. To delete the endorsement tap the Delete this endorsement button at the bottom of the screen.
