Import Data

MyLog offers different ways to import your current hours and experiences. You can find all the options in the Import Data screen.

Import from Excel

The main import method is importing from an Excel file. You can import your hours and experiences by following these steps:

  1. Download Template

MyLog provides a standart Excel template for you to fill your hours and experiences. You can download this template by tapping Download Template button.

  1. Upload Excel File

After you fill the template, you can upload it by tapping Upload your file button.

Company Specific Imports

MyLog offers different import options for different companies. You can find all the options in the Company Specific Imports screen.

If you don't see your company in the list, you can contact us via the app or Mylog Web Site to add your company to the list.

Turkish Airlines

For Turkish Airlines we provide two different import options:

Activity Report

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will receive an Excel file. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from Turkish Airlines Activity Report option.

  1. This activity report contains all of your duties and flights. MyLog processes only flights (on duty or deadhead) and simulators. The information listed below is not available in the report. So you may need to update imported records later.
  2. Simulator registration is exists but not real. To create a log entry, MyLog creates a dummy simulator like depicted in the report and relates all simulator flights to this simulator.
  3. There is no information about PIC in the report so MyLog will assign a Self value if you are a Captain on that particular flight.
  4. No information is available about rest or crew to count so Rest Time is not calculated.
  5. No takeoff and landing times are available so MyLog will not calculate any flight time.

Roster Logbook PDF

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will receive a PDF file for the requested month. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences for that month.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from Turkish Airlines Roster Logbook PDF option.

  1. This logbook PDF contains flight and simulator records for the selected month. MyLog process this file and import the records to your logbook. The information listed below is not available in the logbook PDF. So you may need to update imported records manually.
  2. The file contains simulator records without any registration or aircraft type. So it MyLog will ignore these records. You need to add simulator records manually.
  3. There is no PIC information in the file. So MyLog will set PIC as Self. Therefore MyLog will decide to set PIC Time or CoPilot time according to your rank in MyLog Settings if you specified. If you are a Caption all flights will be recorded to PIC Time, otherwise, all flights will be recorded to CoPilot Time.
  4. There is no information about the pilot function for that particular flight. So MyLog will set the pilot function as PF and landing count as 1 according to landing conditions.

SunExpress (TR)

For SunExpress (TR) we provide one import option:

FT Records

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will receive a PDF file. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from SunExpress (TR) FT Records option.

  1. This flight records PDF contains flight and simulator records for the selected month. MyLog process this file and import the records to your logbook. The information listed below are not available in the FT Records PDF. So you may need to update imported records manually. Simulators' registrations are not real registrations. But MyLog uses the name for both simulator's name and registration. There is no PIC information in the file. So MyLog will set PIC as Self. Therefore MyLog will decide to set PIC Time or CoPilot time according to your rank. If you are a Caption all flights will be recorded to PIC Time, otherwise, all flights will be recorded to CoPilot Time.

Emirates

For Emirates we provide one import option:

Crew Log Reports

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will receive an Excel file. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from Emirates Crew Log Reports option.

  1. This log reports Excel contains your only flight records for the selected month(s). MyLog process this file and import the records to your logbook. The information listed below are not available in the Crew Log Records. So you may need to update imported records manually.
  2. There is no simulator log, so MyLog won't import any simulator records.
  3. There is no PIC information in the file. So MyLog will set PIC as Self.
  4. If your stick time lover than block time, MyLog assumes it rest time.

Flight Training Orgazination Imports

MyLog offers different import options for different flight training organizations. You can find all the options in the FTO Imports screen.

LOT Flight Academy

Download your Flight Academy Records via your company system. After you download the file, you can upload it to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from LOT Flight Academy option.

  1. Because of this is flight academy data, MyLog assumes that flights are either DUAL or PIC according to Instructor. If there is no assigned instructor, flight is assumed to be PIC.
  2. Because of night flight already calculated MyLog will not calculate night flight time. If flight is recorded as night flight, takeoffs and landings also considered as night takeoff and landing.
  3. No Multi Pilot Time, Co Pilot Time, Rest Time or Instructor Time is calculated.
  4. This file contains aircraft type as Manufacturer and Model. But for the same model there may be different writings. For example, Tecnam P2008, Tecnam P2008 MK or Tecnam 2008. You have to update these records manually and match with an existing aircraft type in MyLog.
  5. This log reports Excel contains only your flight academy records for the selected month(s). MyLog process this file and import the records to your logbook. The information listed below are not available in the Flight Academy Records. So you may need to update imported records manually.
  6. When you download your flight academy records, you will get a Excel file. Upload that file to MyLog. The file will be uploaded to our server and will be processed. After the process is completed, you will receive an email with the result.

TAFA FAMS Logbook

Download your FAMS Logbook via TAFA FAMS system. After you download the file, you can import it to MyLog.

warning

TAFA FAMS Logbooks are completely suitable with MyLog. But MyLog make some normalization on records while importing. Bu there are some restrictions for importing data from TAFA FAMS Logbook option.

  1. FNPT-II Simulators are created as Generic Aircraft typed fixed based simulator in MyLog system.
  2. MyLog doesn't make any calculation except Distance, all times and landing counts imported as they exist in the file.

Ayjet Flight Academy

Download your Flight Records files from your internal system. You will get a PDF file which contains flight records.

warning

AYJET Flight Records file mostly suitable with MyLog. But MyLog make some normalization on records while importing. Please check notes below.

  1. Flight records file doesn't contain any information about aircraft type. So if the aircraft doesn't exists in MyLog yet, the row may be skipped.
  2. TACH READING column will be ignored

Other Application Imports

We provide different import options for different applications. You can find all the options in the Other Application Imports screen.

If you don't see your application in the list, you can contact us via the app or Mylog Web Site to add your application to the list.

LogTen Pro

For LogTen Pro we provide two different import options:

LogTen Pro recently changed their export format. If you are using the new version of LogTen Pro, you can use the Dynamic Export Flights option. If you are using the old version of LogTen Pro, you can use the (Legacy) Export Flights option.

Dynamic Export Flights (TAB)

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will get a text file which is tab seperated. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from LogTen Pro Dynamic Export Flights (TAB) option.

  1. If aircraft type is not recognized (not standard ICAO code), it will be skipped.
  2. All data has a counter part in MyLog, will be imported. But if you have a custom field in LogTen, it will be skipped.

(Legacy) Export Flights (TAB)

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will get a text file which is tab seperated. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from LogTen Pro Dynamic Export Flights (TAB) option.

  1. Manufacturers and Aircraft Types may not match with ICAO standards. So those records will not be imported.
  2. If you didn't provide any simulator registration to LogTen Pro, those records will be imported into a simulator with random registration.
  3. LogTen Pro doesn't provide any Single Pilot times specifically.
  4. LogTen Pro doesn't provide any takeoff and landing time specifically. So those times will not be imported.
  5. Extra data that you used in LogTen Pro will be ignored if there is no matching field in MyLog.

MCC

For MCC we provide two import options.

CrewLounge Pilot Logbook Import

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will get a text file which is comma values seperated. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from CrewLounge.

  1. CrewLounge may not provide standard Aircraft Type data. So MyLog will try to find the correct aircraft type based on your type entry. If this is not in ICAO standard format, MyLog will not be able to find the correct aircraft type and will not import this record.
  2. CrewLounge doesn't provide any Single Pilot times. So MyLog will not import this record.
  3. CrewLounge doesn't provide any takeoff and landing times specifically. So MyLog will not calculate any flight time.
  4. CrewLounge doesn't provide any Multi Pilot Time, so MyLog assumes all times are Multi Pilot.

(Legacy) MCC Logbook Import

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will get a text file which is comma values seperated. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from MCC.

  1. MCC doesn't provide any Aircraft Manufacturer data. So MyLog will try to find the correct aircraft type based on your type entry. If this is not in ICAO standard format, MyLog will not be able to find the correct aircraft type and will not import this record.
  2. MCC doesn't provide any airport code for simulator sessions. So MyLog will try to get an airport code based on your Base Airport settings. If you didn't set any Base Airport at the profile page, MyLog will not import this record.
  3. MCC doesn't provide any Single Pilot times. So MyLog will not import this record.
  4. There are no start and end times for Simulator sessions. So MyLog will assume simulator sessions start at 00:00Z. Simulator time will be calculated based on Total Time value.
  5. MCC doesn't provide any takeoff and landing times specifically. So MyLog will not calculate any flight time.
  6. There is no Rest Time in MCC exports, so MyLog will not calculate any rest time.

RB Logbook

For RB Logbook we provide one import option.

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will get a text file which is comma values seperated. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from PilotLog.

  1. RB Logbook export doesn't contain any information about aircraft type. So while importing, if the aircraft is not exists in MyLog database, it will be skipped.
  2. RB Logbook export doesn't contain any information about aircraft type. So while importing, simulator logs will be skipped.
  3. RB Logbook doesn't provide any Single Pilot times specifically.
  4. Extra data that you used in RB Logbook will be ignored if there is no matching field in MyLog.

PilotLog

For PilotLog we provide one import option.

If you follow the steps described in the app, you will get an Excel file. You can upload this file to import your hours and experiences.

warning

There are some restrictions for importing data from PilotLog.

  1. PilotLog export doesn't contain any information about simulator logs. So while importing, no simulator logs will be imported.
  2. In some cases aircraft types may be different from ICAO standards, so those rows will be ignored.
