Capturing Times

MyLog can capture times automatically from aircraft displays. You can capture times from photo or camera.

Capture Time feature is still in BETA and may produce inaccurate results. OCR system may not able to read correctly times from your photo, so MyLog can not verify a valid flight log times from the photo. In this case you will see a warning about this. Othersisw, please double-check the results before saving them.

  1. Open Add Log screen.
  2. Tap either Capture Time icon right side of time fields.

MyLog will ask you to allow access to your photos and camera if you are using this feature for the first time. You can read more about this from Privacy Policy.

  1. Choose the source of the photo. You can either select from your photos or take a new photo.

If you want to save the photo that you used to capture times, you can enable it from MyLog Settings.

  1. Select the photo you want to use.
  1. Tap Continue button. MyLog will capture times from the photo and show you the results.
  1. Sometimes MyLog can show you multiple results. You can select the result you want to use by tapping on it.
  1. Select the result you want to use and tap Continue button. This will close Capture Time screen and fill the time fields at Add Log screen with the result you selected
