v2.3.0 Update
MyLog v2.3.0 is now available on the App Store and Google Play. This update includes new features, changes, improvements, and bug fixes. Here is the full list of changes:
Features
Flight Map Share Button
Flight Map screen now has a share button. You can share your flight map with your friends or social media.
Dashboard Customization
Dashboard widgets now can be sorted by drag and drop or hiding from view.
You will see a new button on the top right corner of the Dashboard screen. When you tap this button, you will see the Customize Dashboard screen.
You can change the order of the widgets by dragging them up and down. You can also hide a widget by tapping the eye icon on the right side of the widget.
Turkish Airlines Roster App Screenshot Integration
Turkish Airlines crews can add their flight by adding their Roster App screenshot, using the Capture button. MyLog will automatically fill in the flight details.
Dynamic Data
Do you want to see custom data at Dashboard? With this update you can add dynamic data to MyLog dashboard.
You can filter your data by date or duration, aircraft type. You can choose which time data you want to see.
Calendar View
Calendar view was added to the Logs screen. You can see your flights in a calendar view.
Blue dots represent the flights, and red dots represent the simulator hours.
iOS Action Extension
iOS users can add a flight to MyLog from the Photos app using the Action Extension. You can select a photo of your flight times or a screenshot of Roster App (Turkish Airlines users only) and add it to MyLog.
Please note that the Action Extension is only available on iOS devices. If you do not see Capture Log in the Share menu, please tap Edit Actions and enable Capture Log.
Communication Preferences
Users can change their communication preferences from the Settings screen.
If you don't want to receive monthly digest emails, you can disable it from there.
Add Predefined Limitations
Users can add all predefined limitations at once using the Add Predefined Limitations button in the Limitations screen.
If you have already added all predefined limitations, the Add Predefined Limitations button will not be visible.
Changes & Improvements
- Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
- Minor UI improvements.
- The flight List screen was renamed as the Logs screen.
- The synchronization system was improved to prevent data loss and reduce gray screen problems.
Bug Fixes
We are aiming to provide a better user experience with each update. We have fixed the following issues in this update:
- An error preventing to removal of selected aircraft type in the Previous Experience screen was fixed.
- An error causing the wrong value in the Rest Time field was fixed at the Dashboard Current Times widget.
- An error causing navigating to the wrong flights from the Flight Log Details screen when swiping or using the buttons below was fixed.
- If the user selects maximum as the limitation type and landing count as the value type, an error occurs. This issue was fixed.
- An error causing UI errors when an iPad receives a notification was fixed.
- If the user wants to use some special characters in the password, an error occurs. This issue was fixed.
- An error preventing to shows months of the year, if the user taps one in the annual chart was fixed.
- Previous Experience data was not shown on the Dashboard screen. This issue was fixed.
- Some enhancements were made to improve the synchronization system.
- Some charts in the Dashboard screen were showing Previous Experience data as a separate row. This issue was fixed.
- An error causing the Logbook PDF Export to take too much time, was fixed.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues after the update, please try the following steps:
Reset synchronization
In some cases MyLog Synchronization may not work properly after the update. If you see a gray screen or if you cannot see your data on the app, refer to the MyLog Synchronization System page.
Logout and relogin
Sometimes reseting the synchronization may not be enough. If you still see issues, try to logout and relogin to the app.
Reinstall the app
In rare cases, all the above steps may not work. If you still see issues, try to reinstall the app.
